Autonity - PCGC Incentivized Testnet Is Over

Autonity crossed a huge milestone in the project roadmap and journey to mainnet. August 7th marked the end of the long running Piccadilly Circus Games Incentivized testnet. The primary goal of the games was to bring together many different members of the Autonity community in a competitive setting that was challenging, fun and a productive addition to the development and testing efforts working towards the mainnet launch.

The games have helped Autonity to build up and test its validator community and operational processes in preparation for mainnet. Further to this development and testing of the network infrastructure, the games were also able to incentivise the community to develop educational materials, search for bugs, trade in profit and loss game challenges, and build out a series of dapps, tooling, and data visualisation.

Game Stats / Highlights

  • 2500 registered participants
  • 5 different award streams
  • Massive social growth on X and Discord
  • 157 independent Validators
  • 3,800 wallet addresses
  • 60,000,000 Total transactions

From the AGF and Autonity core team, thank you to all those who took part in the Piccadilly Circus Games Competition.

Those who won prizes in the competition will be contacted as per the same format in previous rounds. Information on how to swap points for prizes will also be shared in due course. Remember KYC and AML checks will be carried out on everyone receiving a prize.

As Autonity inches closer to mainnet beta, stay tuned for more challenges, bounties and incentives aimed at rewarding community members even further. Be sure to stay in Discord to learn more information about the product set and use cases launching on Autonity.
